Were you told not to feel your feelings, not to have them, or the feelings you had were wrong or bad? Many of us become so skilled at denying ourselves that we’re now out of touch with our emotions and needs. Yet, they are our greatest asset for a full, healthy, and satisfying life.
Many of us have turned to eating, shopping, over-working, procrastinating or other mechanisms to self-soothe, survive toxic environments, or avoid discomfort. These strategies, however, are no longer working for us. We want more from life. The eating, shopping, and overworking (often manifesting in anxiety, depression and shame) is taking a toll on our bodies and minds.
Join us for a six week group experience. We will learn to feel and express our feelings in a safe environment. The group will incorporate fun and creative exercises to stimulate discussion. We’ll learn to recognize how our feelings impact our lives.
